New book on climate change

This book of Roman Corobov PhD, presented as a scientific monograph, reviews thoroughly the recent literature on different aspects of the climate change problem. Numerous scientific and political recommendations are illustrated by original findings and case studies based mainly on Moldova and other FSU countries research. Taking into account that the weakest place of environmental and climate change research in this region is insufficient knowledge of international studies, the book partially fills this gap. The novelty of the monograph is framing of climate change problems as a challenging environmental and human-influenced development issue that shifts policy strategies from a mono-disciplinary approach, with an emphasis on natural sciences, towards an interdisciplinary research strategy with stronger focus on co-production of scientific knowledge between natural and social scientists, policymakers, and society.
The structure of the book follows its principal idea and targeted audience, first of all those who work in the climate change field in countries with economy in transition, and is aimed at specialists who are sufficiently acquainted with the problem; it can be also useful for students and post-graduate studies in relevant fields. The book includes six chapters (644 pp.), illustrated by 117 figures and 78 tables. The bibliography includes 706 sources. The content and one chapter as example could be downloaded.
